Should I take Mechanics or Statistics?
If you take A Level Physics, Mechanics (P4) is highly recommended as there is significant overlap. If you plan to study Psychology, Biology, or Economics at university, Statistics (P5/P6) is more beneficial.
Can I use a calculator in all papers?
Yes, unlike some other boards, Cambridge (CIE) allows calculators in all papers (P1, P3, M, S). However, you must show working to get method marks.
What is the difference between AS and A Level?
AS Level is usually the first half of the course (Paper 1 + one applied module) and counts as 50% of the full A Level grade. The A2 year adds Paper 3 and the remaining applied module.
